Damouhari, only five – minute walking distance from our resort, is a typical beach destination of Pelion. It is comprised of two small bays separated by narrow streak of land. In the North Bay you come across the small pictures picturesque harbor of the village. Here there are small boats and yachts anchored and you can also see an old stone customs house and some other warehouses which remind us of how Greece looked like the previous century.

In the southern part you can swim in the sea area that Damouhari is famous throughout the world. On the peninsula that joins the two small bays you can see the ruins of a medieval castle. Locals call this beach old Damouhari and it is typical of its crystal clear water and its white pebbles. It is its various sea caves, accessible by swimming that make it highly romantic, though.
